About Review of Black Political Economy Journal
Established in 1970, The Review of Black Political Economy is the leading outlet for research that examines issues related to the economic status of African-Americans, the African diaspora and marginalized populations throughout the world. A journal of the National Economic Association, the RBPE identifies and analyzes policy prescriptions designed to reduce racial, ethnic and gender economic inequality. The RBPE welcomes contributions in all areas of social and economic inequality focused on African diaspora and marginalized populations. We are particularly interested in articles that utilize economics, political science, public policy, sociology and other social science theory to identify or analyze public and private policies for their effectiveness in reducing economic inequality. The journal is a publication of the National Economic Association (NEA). Individual subscriptions can be obtained via membership to the NEA.
